diversity and human welfare
Methodologies for valuation, uses of plants have been replaced by IUCN
status assessment criteria of endangered species.
A-2 Ethno botany and medicinal botany
BEVERAGES: most of the beverages are not healthy drinks,
medicinally relevant, so this topic has been deleted.
TRICOPUS: this plant is not available in and around many other species is
available, which can be practically shown to the students. So this topic is
deleted.
A-3 Pharmacognosy
and Phytochemistry
ECYDOSONES: not relevant
AROMATHERAPY: Aromatherapy is not very popular in our
country .so it is not very relevant
PAF Antagonists (plate let activity factor): It is out of context,
i.e. all of other topics are beneficial for health where as this is not so.

1. It is resolved to introduce CBCS
pattern semester wise syllabus for I and III (I, II, V&VI semesters) year
both for theory and practical’s as for recommendation of department of higher
education .(w.e.f 2016-2017 ) for third
year students.
2. It is resolved to choose elective
paper VII and clusters for paper VIII depending on the local needs and job
demands.
3. It is resolved to alter question paper pattern as internal 40 (assignments 5 M, seminars 5 M, objective test for 10 marks &internal 20 marks) and 60 marks for SEE from 70 for I. B.Sc.
