The Department of Botany was established in D.R.W. College
during the Academic Year 1984 with regular combination of Chemistry, Botany and
Zoology. The Department Introduced new combinations like, Biochemistry &
Botany, Biotechnology and Chemistry.
The Dept. Conducted U.G.C Sponsored add on programme in
Agro processing. Department is well equipped with Compound Microscopes, Oil
immersion, binocular, trinocular with CD Camera attached with Computer, Dissecting
Microscopes, Electrical Balance, Gel Electrophoresis, Chromatography chambers,
Camera Lucida, Calorimeter, PH meter, Slide Projector, Hot Air Oven, Incubator,
Laminar air flow cabinet ,autoclave & OHP. Staff is made a pioneer contribution to the growth of the department.
